lyrics

Always found it hard to track the meaning of success
Struggling with the means but somehow happier with less
But stumbling how I was back then led me to this end
Where to go and when what to let die or defend

But there’s no milestone, there’s no marker
It all adds up and the day gets darker
And you Fall Apart
And you Fall Apart

We’ve all got a lot to learn about letting go
I just wanna hold on to what I used to know
But all I’m really sure of is you’re not here tonight
And no matter what I want well it’s never by my side

There’s no milestone, there’s no marker
It all adds up and the day gets darker
And you Fall Apart
And you Fall Apart
It’s a stalemate you’re in stasis
It’s the same old pile of trash in a bunch of different places
And you Fall Apart

The older I have gotten the less I’ve come to know
Had to make my own mistakes, never liking to be shown
Well it ain’t the job you got more the people that you meet
Some trying to beat the rat race some trying to find their feet

There’s no milestone
What if there’s no marker
If it all adds up are you just gonna let it go darker
And then you Fall Apart
Then Fall Apart
It’s a stalemate you’re in stasis,
You just didn't hit the ball so you run around the bases
And you Fall Apart.

about

Andy Hawkins UK

Andy Hawkins did the thing everyone dreams of doing; he quit his job of 7 years, started writing songs, and is about to put out his first EP. Inspired by Bob Dylan, Brian Fallon and Billy Bragg, Andy signed up for songwriting coaching with Canadian songwriter Billy Pettinger. He then traded in his 60 hour work weeks and unforgiving boss for a gig as a security guard so he could focus on writing. ... more
